About program
The aim of the Orthopedic Technology study programme, upon graduation from which the Professional Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences is awarded, is to provide higher college education in the field of medical technology which meets the European standards and competencies that are necessary for further professional career as an orthopaedic technologist. The study program gives students the opportunity to get acquainted with the current possibilities of the orthopedic technologies sector in Lithuania and abroad; the patterns and prospects of change.

Access to professional activity or further study
The acquired Professional Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences allows a graduate to work in rehabilitation centres, hospitals and other health care institutions in cooperation with different health care professionals.
Access to further study: Graduates of first cycle higher education programme will be able to study further in health sciences study fields programmes.

Minimal education of the applicant: Secondary
- Must apply via UNIMETIS system or via email: admissions@ilk.lt
- Must have a valid ID document
- Must have a CV (resume)
- Must have a certificate of maturity (Diploma and supplement)
- Must have a B2 English language level certificate
- Must have a minimum GPA of 50% in individual semesters and a CGPA of at least 50% overall to be eligible for studies
- Must have a police clearance certificate
- Must be able to come to Lithuania in person for studies
- Must have enough resources to support oneself
- Related work, volunteering experience or additional achievements are considered to be a big advantage
