Staying in Lithuania for more than 90 days
EU/EEA Citizens (Exchange Students)
- For entrance, no migration document is required, however, if you stay here more than 3 months, you must apply for Temporary Residence Certificate (TRC) via Migris system, submit biometric data at a chosen Migration department branch, and declare your accommodation. - Mediation letter number is issued by the College.
- Consent of declaration must be done within a month after coming to Lithuania for studies.
Non-EU/EEA Citizens (Exchange Students)
- For entrance, a National D Visa is required). Non-EU/EEA exchange students must apply for National D Visa via Migris system, submit biometric data at external VFS Global office. More information about the procedure: https://www.migracija.lt/esu-studentas

Staying in Lithuania up to 90 days
EU/EEA Citizens
No Migration document is required (Visa-free regime).
Non-EU/EEA Citizens
- A Schengen Visa is required.
- You should apply to the Lithuanian Visa service in a foreign country or through the visa application centre of the external service provider (VFS Global) if you are abroad, or to a diplomatic mission or consular post of another Schengen State representing the Republic of Lithuania.
